Palm Beach is one of the best beach and luxury destinations on the east coast. Palm Beach has a great combination of luxury boutique hotels, shopping and absolutely great restaurants. I love the big wide beaches here and the weather is nice and warm. This is a great place to spend a vacation whether it be a long weekend or a weeklong getaway. I try to spend a week in Palm Beach every fall as soon as it starts getting cold in New York City and I always have a great time in Palm Beach. I love going to  great restaurants around town for lunch and then enjoy the afternoon on the big wide beach. 



Palm Beach is so much different from Miami, Miami Beach or any places in Florida because here you will find the ultimate in South Florida luxury srrounded by great shopping, beaches and lots of gorgeous houses along the beach valued in the tens of millions. Palm Beach is a high end destination and the prices reflect that, but more than the high end nature of the area it's about the warm weather and beautiful big wide beaches. Here in Palm Beach it is all about the luxurious lifestyle, great food and  relaxing at the beach.

Given Palm Beach's location it is a great getaway for beaches, the start of stone crab season (October 15 - it is not to be missed), Fifth Avenue quality shopping and showing off your new warm weather wardrobe.  Palm Beach is also right along the gulf stream so you do not have to travel very far offshore for some of Florida's best fishing.

On my last trip to Palm Beach I chartered a private fishing trip to try my hand at deep sea fishing for sailfish. It was absolutely a great time and my luck was at its best that day.  I ended the day with a 6 foot sailfish, my first ever, that left me with another great memory form Palm Beach. What else can be better then a great stay at a luxury boutique hotel, stone crabs for lunch, relaxing at the beach and fishing in the deep sea on a world class fishing boat with an experienced captain who put on right on the best fishing around.



One of my favorite short trips from Palm Beach is John D MacArthur Beach State Park.  The park is filled with local wildlife and has a great beach for relaxing and searching for shells.  The environment here is surrounded by mangroves and has a very rich sea life. It is absolutely amazing. If you are thinking of a luxurious yet quiet getaway destination, then Palm Beach is the right place for you.
