Mount Fuji is an iconic image when I think of Japan. It is also known as Holy mountain. Fuji is a city in eastern Shizuoka Prefecture and is located in the heart of Hakone National Park. I was here for a couple days to explored Fuji mountain but I also had a fantastic time at the hotel where I stayed. The hotel with its Japanese style. I could see the Fuji mountian from the my room. I love the traditional Japanese hotel. The view when I looked out the window were surrounding by traditional Japanese roofs. They look so pretty and rich with its pristine architecture. I felt in love with this town. It was so authentic and the beauty of mount Fuji from just the distance by the window with the scenary of traditional Japanese house was just so wonderful. This was such a great place to be, mount Fuji is Japan's highest mountain and recently named one of the newest UNESCO World Heritage. It has an amazing 360 degree view of lake Ashinko, the Hakone mountain and the Owakudani Valley.
Mount Fuji, located on Honshu Island. It is also the highest mountain in Japan. Mount Fuji lies about 100 kilometres south-west of Tokyo, and can be seen from there on a clear day. What I love about visiting Mouth Fuji was the natural beauty. It is also the must see attraction when you visit Japan. I spend a couple night in town with the stunning view from my hotel room. I love the view of Mount Fuji. It was gorgeous. The special thing about this trip was the traditional Japanese hotel. I had such a wonderful experienced slept on the traditional bed. It was super comfy. I just wish I could go buy the same one back home but unfortunately maybe someday..., most of the hotel near Mount Fuji area also offers hot spring from Mount Fuji. This is the best part of the trip.
When the weather is beautiful and sky is clear. It is wonderful to get on the scenic cruise and at its peak is a Shinto Shrine dedicated to the goddess Sengen-Sama. Below is an astonishing view of the Fuji Five Lakes and the Shiraito Falls. Mount Fuji is surrounded by lush greenery and, in the spring, budding cherry blossoms, especially during the Sakura season "Cherry Blossom Season" It is even more stunning. I would say it is the gem of Japan. From the cruise to visiting Mount Fuji, getting on the mount Fuji I was going to the hill by bus but if you are a hiker or love to clime Mount Fuji than be prepare because it is very challenging but worth for the experienced of a lifetime. The climbing season is from July to August. The weather at these times are usually mildest and there is the least amount of snow on the mountain.
I had a full day trip visting Mouth Fuji and enjoy some fun activities. At the end of the day I had traditional Japanese cuisine at the hotel. I love how conservative the hotel provided in every single details. I had my Japanese robe on while I was enjoying my dinner and after dinner. I went to hot spring bath tab. It was extreamly relaxing. I assumed that I had such a long sleep after that hot spring and my skin looked fresh and healthy the next day. It was one of my favorite thing to do on this trip to Japan. Over all visiting Mount Fuji was magnificent. The natural beauty is all around. It was really worth it. There are many attraction even though a couple day visiting Mount Fuji and town around here was really way too short, but hopefully I will make a longer trip the next time I visit Japan.

Happiness and stress-free is just all around here. It was so simple, just to be able to look out from the hotel room and enjoyed the natural beuaty has to offer was just what I want. The traditional and enrichment of the culture made it worthwhile, not just the natural beauty, culture, authentic food but the best part is the benifit of enjoying hot spring bath. This is also a wellness health destination too. What else I can asked for...
