Berlin is the city of history from the second world war and there are many museum to explore around the city. Here in Berlin I was experiencing the history, as it comes alive with each landmark sight. I walked along the Berlin wall and I could feel the vibe as I walk along the remnants of the Berlin Wall, stop at the infamous Checkpoint Charlie, where American and Russian tanks came face to face at the height of Cold War, take in the glorious Brandenburg Gate, where elated Germans celebrated the unforgettable night the Wall came down or visit the Nazi bunkers, a reminder of the more sinister days of European history. The bullet holes on the wall that scars from the war. When I looked at the wall with those bullet holes. It made to imagination how horrify it could be during the war. That was pretty scary. The architectures in Berlin is not so much old and classy compared to other cities in Europe since they were destroyed by the war but the city still got the old look and the mixed of modern architectures.
However Berlin is also one of the modern city in Europe. Here you will see the mixed of old and modern architecture. For those traveler who love to try new modern activities. I think Berlin is the right place and even better if you love beer too. There are weird stuff to do like Ship shape - Badeschiff is a former river barge turned swimming pool or visit an art gallery where they provide a multicourse gourmet dinner which is part of the exhibition concept. Every two months, chef-artist-gallery owner Ulrich Krauss invites a different artist to create a site-specific installation at Zagreus Projekt, a basement space in the back of a classic late 19th-century Berlin townhouse. Together they compose a delicious menu inspired by the artwork and served several times weekly to a small group of diners at a communal table surrounded by the art.
When I was walking around the city. I concerned that many restaurants here love to decorate their restaurants witht the bear because bear is the symbol of Berlin. You will see the bear with the coats of arms on the flag which is a representation of the word "baerlin," German for "little bear." Berlin's flag, adopted in 1954, also features the same bear. I even love the chocolate shop where I would say one of the best creative massive arts of chocolate in the world I had ever seen. They have all the beautiful art that made of chocolate like bear and architectures, here at Fassbender-Rausch Chocolatier. I love the selection of chocolate which you can select the percentage of chocolate with many shapes from mild to dark and even 100% dark chocolate. They also make great white chocolate as well. It is absolutely a heaven for chocolate lover!
I also love the local restaurants here. It got vintage vive and the food from local restaurants are pretty good but it was quite heavy. The portion of food here is quite big but I would say I really enjoyed German food, specially from some old local restaurants. Here I also love the cider drink. It is a must try drink. It was a great refreshing drink and off cause the beer! If you are looking for presents but not a boring souvenir like anywhere you could buy around the city. There is an elegant white berlin bear ceramic shop. It is a unique gift from Berlin also great for home decoration. What I love about Berlin was also many unique shops aroud the city. It was one a fun place to shop for unique stuff as well but mostly it came in the bear shape!
Berlin is a unique city where it put me into the imagination of the second world war because of those bullet hole on the buildings. The old architecture here seem stale but than it hit me with some of the modernest architecture in the world. There also new creativity that you will not find anywhere else in the world from art gallery, restaurants etc. What I love the most about Berlin was probably the heavy food and unique shops around the city so don't forget when you visit Berlin, give it a try for the wacky things to do in Berlin!

Best Season:
Peak Season: June - August
are the peak summer months the most popular time to visit Berlin, and the city always puts on a good show with plenty of outdoor events to enjoy. The good weather also lets Berlin open its doors, spill onto sidewalks and cram the beer gardens of its wonderful parks, although things can be wearingly hot. Highs can easily hit a of high 90ºF (32ºC). Thankfully evenings cool off considerably and summer is also the rainiest time in Berlin, Summer is also the most expensive time to plan a Berlin vacation - around 30% higher than in winter, and room availability can be an issue, particularly during major events. I suggested that you book at least a month in advance.
